3. Easy Diagnosis and Fix

Identifying a failed valve is straightforward: unscrew the A or B connector while your hot tub is full of water and slightly separate the pump from the liner. If you notice a constant gush of water, it’s a clear indication of a valve failure. Our replacement non-return valve will resolve this issue, restoring your hot tub to perfect working condition.

Installation Guide

How It Works

Over time, the non-return valve inside your liner pipe can perish and become damaged, allowing water to bypass the valve and enter the pipes. This increased pressure on the internal components eventually leads to leaks from the bottom of the pump. The Lay Z Aqua Lock provides a robust solution to this problem, ensuring water only flows in the intended direction and maintaining the integrity of your hot tub’s system.

1

Identify the Connector:

Locate the A connector on airjets or the B connector on hydrojet models.

2

Remove the Connector:

Unscrew the connector while the hot tub is full of water.

3

Check for Leaks:

Slightly move the pump to separate the pipe from the liner. If water gushes out, the valve needs replacing.

4

Install the Aqua Lock:

Insert the Lay Z Aqua Lock into the liner pipe, ensuring a secure fit.

5

Reattach the Connector:

Screw the connector back into place and ensure there are no leaks.
